Has any owner of the Elddis Crusader Caravan had any problems with the Front Window getting dirty marks in between the two plastic panels of the window. I have just had the middle front window replaced not under warranty as 1 years warranty for windows had expired.cost me a sum. Now after approx 6 weeks. the same has happened with the new window. I wanted to know if this is a common problem or I am just unlucky. I own a Elddis Crusader Supersirocco 2008 model. Any advise appreciated.

Not a direct answer to your question but the windows in my Swift were covered for 3 years with the warranty.

Actually got one on order now and the van is 3 years old in September.

Did you check ?

I have one years warranty for the windows from Explorer. My window became faulty during the first year. I waited until the first service, big mistake. because the dealer I purchased the caravan from was too far away (purchased at Caravan show) My local dealer would not replace the window under the warranty. by this time the year was up. Now the replacement window has the same fault, my local dealer is sorting this out. In the mean time I have written to Expolorer asking for a reimbursement. due to the fact Polyplastic manufacturer has a on going problem, my local dealer also knew this.

Hi,

We have a 2009 Crusader Superstorm. Within a week of taking delivery we too noticed marks on the inside of the centre front window.

Seems this is not a one off.

Hi Emma,

check out the other thread as James has already said, you'll find there is a known problem which is being dealt with under warranty.

We have just had our fourth window fitted and hoping that this new mk3 version (with a much bigger gap between the panes) is going to do the trick!
