Camp Sites Northern Brittany

Could anyone please recommned campsites around the Mont St Michael and St. Malo areas of Northern Brittany with a good swimming pool complex that would be suitable for 6 year olds. We are hoping to visit early August.

Hi Jill we went to this area 2 years ago and stayed at chateau des ormes it's a castels site one of the best we think our son was six at the time and had a great time in the pool, on the lake and horseriding.

Hi Jill - Camp du Letty at Benodet is a faboulous site right on the beach and only a few minutes walk into Benodetalong the coast. It is a flat site and all amenities are spotless. we travelled down from Roscoff and the raods were great. The only care was the fact that there are very few petrol filling stations between Roscoff and Quimper.

Should you decide to go here I would suggest that you take pushbikes with you if possible as it is quite flat and most people were using their bikes and not the cars. have a great stay wherever you go - my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this area of France.

On of the nearest castels sites (which are excellent...Quimper is superb) is Le Ch

hi i would recomend haliotis (pontorson)about 5 miles from mont st-michel lovley site familey run good clean showers etc. and a good pool area st malo 20 mile happy vanning peter oh! www.camping-haliotis-mont-saint-michel.com cheers
