Hi,

We've stayed at Memling for a few days - great location for visiting Brugge - about a 2.5 km walk to the centre.

The pitches are all grass and on the small side - if you've been to the caravan club site at York (Rowntree Park) they are of a similar size.

Toilet block is OK - clean and Northern European styled.

Unlike the coastal sites - which are oriented at young families - this should be quieter - unless you stagger back "worse for wear" from one of the local brewery trips.

Robert

Note: This region of Belgium is very definitely Dutch speaking (Vlaams) so don't use the French place names or you'll get some funny looks from the locals. Ditto french language.

Hi,

Stayed here for 2 nights in March not busy but believe that it is best to book for summer or peak weekends. Good site helpful owner and close to town and s/markets.

Graham
