I noticed on this forum that members reply to some topics with a lengthy post. ( Which is good) but do you sit and type them all in, or is there another way?

If you don’t type then audio is another option. But that needs a certain skill to ensure what you say is accurately typed, and then there are the punctuations too. I used to use a small Olympus dictaphone to record things when out with the dogs. But what came back from my secretary still required editing. Eventually when word processing became the norm, personal secretaries became an endangered species.

I make posts either using a normal keyboard on a PC/Laptop or virtual keyboard on the Smartphone.

Long posts will be from the keyboard as using a virtual keyboard on a smartphone isn't that quick for me. I always read what I've written before posting and find I have to correct more when using the smartphone.

Long hand typing, which gives me time to review and think carefully about I write.
