Car dealers selling the odd caravan

Why is it just about every other car dealer near me has the odd caravan for sale amongst the cars. Do people really buy caravans from car dealers...how is it serviced and by whom? If I want to buy a washing machine I go to a washing machine dealer, if I want to buy a caravan I go to a caravan dealer, how soon will it be before we see the odd ford escort amongst the caravans for sale!

cars that have been taken in as PartX for a van or motohome. the dealer tries to sell it from its forecourt first then moves it on to a SH car dealer.

I used to work in the motor trade. My advice is, if you want a caravan go to a caravan dealer. With the summer approachng, car dealers will stock more and more caravans. BEWARE
