Elizabeth, I've not owned a caralevel myself, but two friends did, and I thought it was marvellous! Just press aswitch and het presto, the van does it all! Magic, but there is a weight penalty.Herself has said she'll buy me one when I get old, but as I'm only 63 I've a long time to wait!

Well my husband is in his early 60s. I am OF COURSE much younger than him! Sounds good though as our caravan a large twin axle and we like to use onboard facilities. Levelling up manually to us will be time consuming and labourious. Its our first twin axle.

I have never seen a Caralvell device, but from what I have read they appear to use the corner steadies to adjust the leveling,I alway thought that trying to level using these was a very definite no no.

If I am wrong then I am sure someone will soon tell me, I would be very interested in exactly how they do work.

I have had Caralevel on my last four vans which I have transfered each time I changed van. I can only praise it.

I have a complete Caralevel for sale, was on a Sterling twin axle which I sold last year, was loosing too much money so removed prior to sale, no use to me now

I have fitted to our caravan and have been using it for several years , nothing better than turning up on site , positioning the caravan , turning the key and a minute or so later all the corner steadies are down. (very usefull when its raining !)
One thing that hasn't been mentioned is that we have it listed as a security device on our caravan insurance as well as a key is required to raise or lower the corner steadies. You can do it by hand but you have to disconnect the motor from the corner steady which isn't a quick job.
