Caravan length.

Hi all.

This may seem a silly question but when measuring a caravan,where do you measure from?

Is it from the hitch back or just the actual caravan itself.

The reason i ask is because on most Haven sites they ask- is your caravan over 21ft long?

I own a singe axle 5 berth so am not to sure!!!

I'm pretty sure that it's from the tow hitch backwards (but I could be wrong).

I was asked the same question by Haven and, on saying it was over 21ft, I was given one of the bigger pitches.

They didn't want any more money so I think they just ask to make sure all the 'vans fit!
