Caravan shock absorbers

I have tried different nose weights to reduce the bounce on the back of my car when towing a single axle caravan with mixed results. I am thinking of fitting Alko's retrofit shock absorbers and wondered if anyone has had any experience with them?

Hello Alan,

I fitted shock absorbers to my Swift Challenger about a year ago.

The van has a mover on it which didn't need moving although I understand some do.

I did't have any bounce on the back of the car but the dampers but they have reduced the bounce on the van wheels, which seems to make it more stable.

The instructions available on the internet and the ones that came with the shock absorbers made them a fairly easy diy fit.
