I generally store my caravan outside all year but I now have the chance to store it in a well ventilaed shed this winter. What is best for the caravan - Indoor storage or outsde in all the elements

hi dave, i would like to know the answer to this as well.
I am thinking of putting my van in storage for 6 months of the year. As we go away in winter and when we had a motorhome we parked it on our drive and next door used to throw curry on the top when we were away....dont ask

Does anyone know any storage in huddersfield area and how much do storage usually cost?

Hello Dave,
I have absolutely no doubt that provided the indoor storage facility is well ventilated it will be better for your caravan. No direct sunlight to fade patterns or to denature the gel coats and paintwork, less likely to get wind damage, and out of sight.
A slightly strange down side may be that if the caravan does have a potential water leak through a body work joint of fixing, you will be less likely to know about untill you expose it rain.

Hello susan I cant help you as Idont live in your area.
