Cariba Creek - Alton Towers

We're off there with the children tomorrow, if any one has any hints tips or opinions please let me know, its two hour drive for us and any comments will be welcome. the last time i was at Alton Towers , the Cork Screw was the new ride !!!

Hi Neil

I assume you are going to the waterpark,Cariba creek which is part of the splash landings hotel, went and stayed about two years ago and had a great time, the waterpark is fantastic for children and adults !

If you are staying in the hotel you should get an hour prority riding before the park gates open in the morning, you can get round the big popular rides then before it anyone else, you should also get a priority pass which allows you to jump the queue on three main rides.

Otherwise it is of course best to get in early,I wouldnt bother with the fast track tickets as sometimes that queue is just as big,they have made it slightly better when queing with entertainment etc... but at half term its going to be unavoidable !!
