My casette toilet will not flush I think it maybe a electrical problem the caravan is a 1989 swift challenger any ideas before I strip it out.
Checked the fuse thats ok going to remove pump and check it.Many thanks.Definately check the fuse, then the pump, before going to the micro-switches as the latter is a toilet out jobbie and is a real pain. If the toilet shares the shower compartment (common in vans of that age) you`ve then got the hassle of resealing it when you replace it.
Mine was doing the same but on an intermittent basis, so when I checked the pump on a bench it worked, resulting in me stripping out the unit (twice) only to discover it was the pump all along. If in doubt swap it.
