Hi Daniel, Iwould suggest you use the propper stuff for you cassette as it designed to break down the bodily waste and

make things alot more hygenic.

I always wash out at the enof the season with disifectant but then add the cassette fluid while its in winter store I hope this helps . Stewart

Do not use any household cleaners on your flush or waste tank.Thetford only recommend their own brand of Pink Flush and Blue wastetank additives. There are many cheaper products you can use Pink or Blue from independent suppliers .I use these myself fom caravan shops or Marinas.

The flush tank can be treated anually with Milton Steriiser fluid up to 24 hours then rinsed out. The waste tank can be washed out with warm water and washing up liquid. Thetford also do a cleaning spray for about

Daniel,

I have always been told that the use of household bleach or disinfectant will cause the Rubber Seals to crack and as a result you will end up with a toilet that leaks.

Thetford and Aquakem add an addictive to their Blue and Pink fluids and this is to keep the Seals lubricated, thus extending the life and funtion of the relevant seal,

best regards, Martin

We use BioMagic - just add 50ml to the holding tank and 10-20ml per litre to the flush tank - we use half as much compared to Thetford Blue and nothing extra to carry for the flush tank.

It's the most effective formaldehyde-free toilet fluid we've tried.
