Hi there,

I have a 2002 Swift Challenger and one of the light bulbs on the wall lights run directly from the mains electricity has blown! after much fiddling I have managed get my fingers in from the top of the light shade and in screw the bulb but doubt I can replace the bulb without removing the light shade.

1) How do I remove the shade there don't seem to be any srews to undo, simply looks like you just pull but i'm not convinced and don't want to break anything?

2) what size bulb do you put in as the old bulb has no marking as to whether it is a 40 or 60 watt etc.

Heres hoping that someone out there owns a 2002 Swift group caravan that can shed some light! on this for me.

Many Thanks

Andrew.

Andrew........

I have an older Challenger than you.... but try this if you have glass shades with a hole in the top.

Grip the top of the shade lightly and push horizontally in any direction, the shade should pop out of it's fixing.

It is now easy to change bulb.

Simply press the shade squarely down to snap back in place

I use 40 watt bulbs, using both at once if I need more light as they do get quite hot.
