Changing Towcar

Hi

I am looking to change my towcar, at present a 1998 Omega 2.0 .

I am looking at something like a Honda CRX 2.0,or Land Rover Freelander, my present van is a 1996 Swift Rapide 440 Diamond approx 1100Kgs.

Any help or suggestions from any would be of a great help

If you drive many miles, a 4x4 will not be very economical for the rest of the year.

If the 1100kg is the max weight of your caravan then most modern family cars will tow this happily and give you lower running costs day to day.

if you are looking for a good towcar try the mondeo 2.o LTR TDCI diesel plenty of torque and plenty about at all prices to suite all pockets it will tow your 1100kg van with ease and plenty left over of you ever change your van .plus the Mondeo is a good car to drive .or if you are thinking of bigger i have a55plate nissan xtrail 2.2 diesel get about 46/48 miles per gallon on a long run and about 26/28 towing my van {pipe delimiter}Swift charisma 555 1480kg
