Called down to Tenby this Monday to check on the condition of my Bailey Limousin 08

Fearing the worst following last years experience.

Opened the door to discover the following:

3 draw unit in the front lounge warping nicely.

A quarter of an inch of iced water in my side locker, location directly under the fixed bed.

Door to cloakroom expanded, fouling when closed.

Roof skylight roller blind, hanging out of track.

Water droplets found in the open cupboard directly above the cooker.

My Trading Standards Officer was impressed on how calm I was.

We have agreed to have an independant servey of the caravan,

should make for some interesting reading.

No doubt I'll get the blame for something or other.

Does make me paranoid

I will not allow myself to be put off caravanning, "what the hell I only paid £15,000.00 for it".

I have decided to wait until the winter laying up period is over, by which time like last year the caravan will need to go back in for repair at the very time I could be using it.

Thanks to all in the manufacture and sale of my caravan, without you there would be no need to take time of work, incur additional costs, experience stress.

Many thanks

Bob,I am so sorry about your van. This makes me really angry that the caravan industry seems exempt from the sale of goods act!If any other product of this value consistently failed to fulfill the objective ie:-to provide the buyer with a dry, safe, functional temporary accommodation for a reasonable amount of time, the weight of public opinion would be brought to bear on them.We buy these vans to have a break from the stresses of everyday life and in lots of instances it just causes more stress.I do hope you get a happy resolution soon and can enjoy your van as you should.
