Hi Has any one used a citroen c4 hatch for towing? How was it?

I am looking at getting a small 2 berth van but would like some advice.

Hi Steve.

We have a c4 small hatch hdi 16, and tow a dandy folding camper and all the gear on it.

It tows great and we get 55mpg towing 60 mpg solo.

The worse mpg we have had was towing a larger traler up and down big hills in Wales, got 48mpg and 51mpg.

But she towed great, no probs, we are looking to get a Freedom caravan soon 750kg, and it should tow that at 50 mpg plus , in cruse control on m6 at 60 mph we averaged 58 mpg with trailer weight of 600 kg.

Just logged onto forum for first time. We have a 2.0 diesel C4 grand picasso and it's the bees knees for towing. Got it in January and have been really pleased with it's towing abilities plus it's so economical in tax and 47 mpg solo. Fantastic and versatile, what more could you want?
