I've been driving for more years than I care to remember, and have always tried to keep up to date on my highway code
However when driving down the M6 yesterday on the way to the N.E.C. show we entered an area of roadworks, they are apparently making it into a "smart" motorway.
On my left, behind a concrete safety barrier are the contractors,,and several JCB diggers,,and most of them showing flashing GREEN lights on top.
I was always led to understand that ,,BLUE flashing for emergency vehicles, AMBER flashing for various hazards, and GREEN flashing for doctors on call.
Am I just out of date,,or maybe those JCB's with green flashing carry and emergency medical kit,,or something else entirely.
