Would it be possible to remove the "comment" box at the end of each post?

Often these posts are not seen, without a lot of trolling.

I agree and had already raised this issue. Parksy agreed, but says he can't get the attention of anyone in the company who could act on this suggestion.

Sorry Ray, I'd missed your opening question, thanks William I had a feeling that the subject was mentioned somewhere but my memory is like a sieve, I'm getting old.

Up until recently we were due to get a new forum which would probably have sorted out this issue. Due to the credit crunch the new forum has been shelved and the gentleman who was working on it at Haymarket was redeployed elsewhere within the company.

From what I can gather the technical resources now available to this forum are so limited as to be practically non existent so I'm afraid it looks as though we have to work with what we have for the time being. I agree that the comments box is a nuisance and creates difficulties for forum users and moderators alike.

Also, to give the other side of the story. Perhaps the comments box gives some people the chance to convey that their message is more personal to the person concerned. I notice that it is used like this.

Anyway, I am not being awkward-(last 2 postings!)Just learn to press the right blooming button and What`s the problem??! LOL

I agree Caroline, I've always regarded the comments feature as a semi-private area for comments directed to the contributor.

I don't find it hard to review that area.
