Compass Rallye 540 and Omega 540

Hi, This is to be my first caravan purchase and I was wondering if anyone can advise if the Compass is a good caravan to buy or does anyone else have any ideas. My wife and I are looking for a 4 berth with fixed bed and "L" or "U" shaped seating a front. We have a 2 year old but no plans for any more.

Any help / advice would be appreciated.

Hi Lee - have a look at a recent previous question in this section regarding fixed bed tourers. As I previously stated under this heading there are advantages/disadvantages for this layout. Think hard about this as it is very expensive to, after purchase, realise a mistake. Good luck with your choice and welcome to the world of caravaning.

I have an Eldiss 540 on the Nightsbridge special. I have to say both me and the wife love the layout, but we only use it as a 2 birth, but if you only have 1 child this would be fine for you.

As for the build quality i am impressed, apart from the lack of a good pdi from the dealer i bought it from.
