I have a 2005 Bessacarr Cameo and have had cracks repaired in the front panel by a Swift Engineer at my local dealers while it was under warranty. The same cracks came back and they have been repaired again at the local caravan dealers, while still under warranty. The dealers had followed Swift's recommendation this time to remove the awning rail, carry out the repairs and then replace same. After this no cracks were visible but after a journey of approx 20 miles the largest crack was showing again. Since then after 2 more short runs to sites more of the cracks are showing
I have reported this to my local caravan dealer and asked that a new front panel is required. They have in turn reported this to Swift to be told that Swift are not prepared to do anything more as it is cosmetic only.
I am very concerned that the cracks have been repaired twice now under warranty and have returned - they will get worse and the van is now out of warranty. Does this mean that I will have to pay for repairs / replacement in future
