If you remember on Boxing day we found the problem with our shower cubicle, see post under Devastaed, here is the conclusion.

We received my Clubman SE back from the dealers Friday 28th, 3 weeks from when l reported the split in the shower bulk head side wall, took it in last Friday.
l have to give credit where credits due to both Lunar and in particular to Leisure Sales of Sandbach.
Let me recount on what the warranty claims were,1/ new centre blind sourced and fitted,2/ new hinges to the Thetford sink sourced and fitted, 3/ new nearside front grab handle sourced and fitted, finally the shower compartment bulkhead side panel renewed by PSS can't tell it's been replaced, PSS found the cause of the split to be a staple that had missed the caravan frame where the bulkhead board is attached causing the staple to protrude against the plastic side panel eventually splitting it due to the movement of the van when towing, not frost damage has first thought. Also while the van was in for these faults the wife remembered that the cocktail cabinet doors were faulty, Leisure Sales had a pair by them as it was known fault and replaced them.
l have to give praise to my dealer on their customer service, we hear a lot of negative reports about dealers but in Leisure Sales case only positives on the way they went about dealing with all these issues well done to Gary and is service team and to the girls in reception for all their help, also to Lunar on their delivery of all the parts but they must look at the way their Technicians assemble their product as my van had staples that had missed the framing on the shower side and also on the fixed bed frame, maybe the said Technician needs retraining on how to use the pneumatic staple gun.
A very Happy Hector

First of all I am really glad you have had a dealer who has responded positively,as there are not many of them about and he should be applauded. And I hope you have no further trouble with your van.I think Cowboy not Technician should apply to those people that threw you'r caravan together.I was caught out twice by buying a lunar,The build quality was rubbish, and QC zero.

Allen, the rest of the van is very well put together, but l agree some Techs do not take enough care when assembling the vans, not all fall into this category. l worked for ICI and then the demerged part AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals before l retired whose fraises was Customer was King, those few Technicians who don't take care with their product that work for Lunar should remember without the customer their job would be at risk, so come on Lunar sort the problem as you do have a good product, it’s the rogue few that get the bad press .By the way Lunar are no way on their own,, we had a Swift Acefirestar that had numerous faults, unluckerly for us. the dealer did not give dam about our problems took best part of 12 months to sort even then we had to go direct to Swift via this forum, hence changing dealerships glad we did in the end
