The outer laminate has come away on one of my doors. Is there a syringe with glue I can inject and reseal it? I don’t want to cut it and glue .

Assuming this is wood laminate.

Perhaps, get a flat object each side and clamps on the ready. Or, remove the door, put it on a flat surface and clamp it using weights.

If the laminate can be held back enough use some dilute PVA in a spray and squirt it in.

PVA is very forgiving and excess will clean up with a damp cloth.

Thanks John,
the structure is more like a laminate envelope. Some how I need to get inside. That’s why I was thinking of a syringe and yes pva will do well

Sometimes they have an egg box type of a core but with a solid edge. Perhaps these may work better with the PVA?

All the edge foils and I mean ALL the edge foiuls came loose on ours, and we used Gorilla Wood Glue, but I think Dusty would have to cut it to get the glue under, and it wonk look right. If the iron melts the glue it may just be a case of luck. I think if its a cupboard door, its probably MDF.

Is it worth trying a Caravan breakers for a new door? If they have a matching one( and it is a big IF) the end result may be neater.

Flipping Heck. Just went on Prima Leisure to see what a new door would cost. The two Senator cupboard doors I found were £105 and £114. Someone is extracting the urine!!!
Go back to Gorilla glue.

Thanks Mel,
You’d hardly notice the delamination. I just need a method of injecting some glue into the void without damaging the outer surface . A hypodermic syringe will do,the job , but are they available??

Dusty, would the nozzle on a tube of super glue suffice?
Thats what I used a few years back, oh that reminds me
I have another one to do as well.

I was recently introduced to mitre glue, brilliant, super glue on steroids. So useful for loads of things.

  • A couple of drops.
  • Bring both sids together,
  • Hold.
  • Quick spray of activator.
  • Wait 15 secs.
  • Jobs a good’n.

Look at this for how to use.
