Cycle Carriers for a swan neck towbar

Hello,

I need a cycle carrier and would prefer the bar system that fits onto a tow bar. Unfortunately my towbar is the "swan neck" type and I cannot seem to find a system that works with this. I've looked in the Towsure catalogue and the only ones they do there are the ones that use the conventional towball bolts. I don't want roof carrires as I have a Range Rover and removing them would be a nightmare.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Many thanks

I also have an off-roader and wouldn't put my bikes anywhere but on the roof. I have seen too many people catch the front of caravan on the bikes when manouvering on site. It also allows mw to access the boot un hindered and you can hitch/unhitch without the risk of hitting yourself on them. To reach them I carry a light set of 2-step kitchen steps which also come in handy with the awning.

I'm pretty sure all the Thule models are suitable for swan neck towbars. The Thule carriers are very poular on the Continent and there probably 95% of all towbars are swan neck (you normally see bolt-on towballs only on commercial vehicles).

Have a look at the Thule website

Towsure stock this one which clamps onto the ball.

I had one for a number of years and it really had a very strong clamping action on to the ball.It would take my weight without moving and folded up very compact.
