Damp in 2yr old swift

Hi can any one explain why our dealer (Mod Note: Name of Dealer removed as per Forum Rules) picked up damp in the front of the van at its 2nd service but have missed serious damp in the side panels, they tell me it depends on the climate on the day they test the van, can anyone explain how this can happen?

Simply put,,,,,,,,,No

If there was damp present it should have been picked up.
What the weater is on the day has little to do with serious damp.
The wood which is beig tested is behind a foil laminate and is not actully subjected to daily fluctuations in humidity.

I would question the damp testing regime.

Thanks Damien, sorry about my entering the dealers site, new to this. The dealer is very cross that I have questioned there service finders and are not taking responsibility but taken van for 2nd opinion and 60% damp underneath the bed, and 48% found around front window, plus 50% on far side. My argument is that if damp is picked up in one place then wether the climate is good or bad it is there, brought brand new and 2yrs old. but thanks for your answer, angiej
