We are thinking of going to this campsite next summer as it looks ideal for efteling and the safari park. Has any forum members been here and is it suitable for a family with two young children?
Thanks Mike, yes we've looked at the site as it's done by Camping Cheques...sorry but have you actually been there ?? I don't want to sound rude or ungrateful but I have a fear what looks OK on a website may not be back up in reality. I guess we could take a risk but it will probably our main family holiday - big risk with SWMBOMonkey, De Kienehoef is eminently suitable for kids, their website is http://www.kienehoef.nl/ Pity it is only in dutch but you will find prices by clicking on -tarieflijst. Click on -brochure- and then on -virtuele tour- for a look around, several views of the campsite can be seen by clicking the blue dots on the small map. Prices vary from _24 for two people in June to _38 for 5 people in August (don't know if kids get a reduction but price includes electra and showers) Dawgs aren't allowed. What more can I say?
Understandable, dont like risking my summer holiday either. No, Ive not been there. I live in Holland and as I had nothing better to do last night took the trouble to find and look over the website. Written Dutch is difficult to understand so I passed on a little information from the website. This type of camp site in Holland is always well run and well organized, it will be busy in the holliday period as is any campsite in Holland, so best to book in advance. I see it has a five star rating by the ANWB (Dutch Automobile Club) this means the quality will be at a minimum comparable to the best sites in Uk in my opinion. Thanks Mike, yes we've looked at the site as it's done by Camping Cheques...sorry but have you actually been there ??
