Just taken delivery of my brand new Bailey Pageant. First time out, got a bit cocky trying to errect the awning in a breeze.

Oops, pole swings straight into the side panel. Lots of small dents!

I've already contacted my insurance but does anybody know of a good repairer. Can you use "Dent Magic" techniques (paintless) on a caravan or will it be a fill and paint job? I'm trying to avoid the horror of a new panel and loosing the van for who knows how long!

Hi Darren

This is really bad news, I am sorry this has happened. I have used dentmaster techniques on cars and they have worked well, but I do not know how you are going to get to the inside of your van easily with this technique? With a car they normally pass a rod down the gap in the window to remove small dents or remove the door panel for larger ones for example...anyway hope things works out well...

I had a similar problem and my dealer Wandahome (the service side is TC caravans 01430 423950) at south cave near hull put me on to a mobile repair service. he came to site and did a superb job of filling and spraying the dent. I would suggest you tried contacting them for the number. Hop this helps

ChipsAway fixed my caravan (and car) after a similar disaster. They filled and repainted the van on my drive. My local man (Leicestershire) is on 01162 570999 and I guess it's a franchise so he should be able to give you a local number.
