Many thanks Keith, obviously a sign of the times I see fuel price questions appearing all over.KeithJ said:Diesel fuel in Luxembourg is among the cheapest in Europe, along with Andorra and Gibraltar. It was €1.21 a few weeks ago - in France it is currently €1.49 on motorways and €1.31 in supermarkets.
Times are A changing. Spain and a few other non tax free havens, in eastern Europe are cheaper than Austria. and petrol in switzerland is not that much dearer than petrol in Austria now. and slowely a few other countries in Western Europe closing what was once a far bigger gap so its not "so much cheaper" with regards a fair few places now.....and not the chheapest non tax haven in Western Europe either......But still far better than we have to pay here in the UK,DianneT said:Last I heared it was 1.17 euro's litre diesel. Here in Austria yesterday it was 1.25.4 Euros before 12 noon and 1.29 after noon. It changes every day and goes up after noon. But so much cheaper than other countries in Europe except for the Tax Free countries.
