Do you need a gas regulator on a new van?

Hi I picked up my new bailey ranger 540/6 yesterday and I`m very happy with it, But I need to sort the gas out before we can get away.

My question is on a new van, Do you need a gas regulator on a new van? I`m sure the person showing me around said it had a regulator attached to the bulk head. So if thats the case do I just need to buy a pipe that will fasten to the bulk head regulator and straight to the gas bottle and not bother with the blue regulator?

Pete - You're absolutely right. You need a 'pig tail' - I'm surprised that the dealer didn't just 'throw one in' when you collected the van !

They come in at least 2 lengths depending whether you use the small bottles in the van or larger bottles on the outside. The bulkhead fitting is standard but you need the correct fitting the other end depending on what type of bottle you use.
