Hi all the main door in and out of our Stirling elite 2016 has become stiff too lock and unlock in the last few weeks. I went into the caravan today and have managed too snap the handle off of my flip key any idea on how too free the lock up before I damage my spare key ?
Thanks
Adrian

Try specialist Teflon lock lubricant. Or GT85 general lub spray which contains Teflon. Some lock lubricants contain graphite which is good. Many advise against WD40 water dispersant and lubricant as it can have adverse effects on some plastics.

Yes many say don't use wd40 , i would try the silicone lube you 'd use for the loo seal, but if all else fails wd40 much decried has solved many a problem for me!

If there is any key protruding a pair of pliers may do the job, I have managed to do this n my daughters house lock. If not then I would take the lock off the door and see if a bit of lubricant and a good shake will let it drop out, or at least move enough to get the pliers on it.
