DVSA driving tests .

Latest news suggests a National strike of DVSA testers may take place. Seems DVSA want the testers to do one extra test per working day . It is suggested they can manage eight tests a day. I wonder how long each test takes and what hours the testers work. Seems a sad thing to have a strike especially with the shortage of HGV. drivers etc

The idea seems to be the result of the lockdown and the need to get more tests done. If they can fit in another test a day it would help, although a bit more pay to compensate might be needed and fair. It needs common sense to prevail.

Not common sense but Good sense.
If doing an extra test each day take the examiners into over their contracted hours, they should be paid overtime.
