Eccles Emerald 1998 4 berth

Could one of you lovely people tell me if you have had good reports about this van,thinking about buying one ? Lovely condition,very tempted..........

Unfortunately, unless someone has an identical van of that age, any comments are going to be not really relevant. Possibly the Eccles Owners Club could give some more pertinent information.

Really the choice is yours. If the van is in good condition, no damp or major problems and you like the layout and have a suitable towcar, then really the final say so is yours. If you have a friend who has, or is a caravan owner then get him/her to have a look to get a second opinion.

I owned a 1999 Eccles Moonstone, same layout except the L diner. It towed very well but I had problems with the floor, it cracked. Swift replaced the floor then it got stolen. I replaced it with a 2003 version, which I have just sold. No problems, with the 1999 van other than the floor. I always liked the layout. I still have a bunk ladder somewhere. Prior to the 1999 version I had a 1995 Emerald (sprite build) so you see we have kept with Eccles, and end bathroom for some years.
