When purchased secondhand from caravan centre they fitted 175 tyres but believe should be 185?
What tyre pressure should I run for 175, 60 psi?

Regards
Leigh

Hello Leigh

I the dealer fitted the wrong tyres, then you should be contacting them to put the correct tyre on.

Failing that they should advise you on the correct tyre pressure.

Hi there, caravan purchased 3 years ago, I looked up pressure for model assuming tyres were correct, it's only today I happened to notice so I could be in a spot of trouble getting them to sort this far down the road, but will try.
Thanks

Even the spare is 175 I now wonder if this is the correct size and online manual is in doubt as tyre size for all models is 185. As long as safe as are correct rating then maybe someone has an idea if 60 psi is still applicable for this width

I changed the width on a Bailey to accommodate an increased load when the caravan payload was upgraded. But I went the reverse direction to you. You should check their Load Index and make sure it’s sufficient for the caravans maximum load as a minimum. Also a margin of 10% is often cited to allow for inadvertent overloading.
What age are your tyres. If you have had the caravan fir three years they may require changing as advice is 5-7 years from date of manufacture. That’s on the side wall.

I took it to mean the trading dealer fitted new 175 tyres three years ago.

This old thread may be of use but without seeing the OP handbook😉
