Elddis Crusader Aurora

I'm interested in buying the 2005 Elddis Crusader Aurora. Does anyone have any experience of this particular caravan yet? I'd love to know what you think of it (good or bad) and also what towcar you use. Thanks.

we have a 2003 aurora ,bought last august when 1 year old( our first van "in at the deep end ?") superb van no problems at all just enjoyed our 20th trip this weekend including 2 weeks in cornwall and new year in edinburg. tow with a terrano 2.7 lwb tows like a dream if the 2005 is as good as ours go 4 it

04 aurora brand new last year nothing but problems.the front fiberglass front started to split across the locker box and around the grab handles.the kitchen units came away from the offside wall. the front three windows wer fitted too close to the rubber seals and they were rubbing against the fiberglass front,the black paint underneath them rubbed off.it is overweight for a single axle 1380kg 1580kg max. it tows a complete load of rubbish on the back of my rangr rover TDI.it bounces from side to side and up and down,the wheels leave the road surface in some cases. there is almost no travel on the susspention it just bouces on the tyres.its been back to the factory to have all the problems sorted but it still tows rubbish even on the back of my friends brand new disco TD5.

We have just purchased a 2003 Aurora and hope to tow it with a SWB2.8TDI Mitsubishi Pajero. Haven't seen many of the Aurora Models around, would love to get more feedback on this Caravan

be carefull, ive got a aruora fixed end bed purchased brand new 2004 towing stability from day 1,still trying to sort it out 16 months on and still nothing sorted it has been back to the factory for repairs and had to have the kitchen fitted back to the wall.we have towed it with a range rover tdi and a brand new disco td5, it bounces from side to side and verticle, in some instances it leaves the road surfice after riding over bumps or drain grids.
