Hi

Been to look at these FAB vans today!! Weights and all the technical stuff come out ok !! (what tow car came to 83% match for my car)

Only thing I wasnt sure of were the tinted windows,have them in my car purely for comfort for kiddies travelling! seem a bit anti-social in a caravan !

Anyway to get to the point anyone got one ??????

Also as it is new ,and has a lot of spec and gizmos with it, i.e alarm,microwave etc.etc... can I get anything knocked off the new price approx 18k on the road???? will be trading mine in !!

Great taste you have :) We have the Elddis Crusader Aurora which is exactly the same spec as yours but single axle. If we could of had a heavier caravan we would most definatly have chosen one of the ones you`ve just mentioned.

Ours is also a new van so has the tinted windows too and being anti social didn`t even cross my mind i must admit.

Price wise yes negotiate as the prices are only RRP. We paid nearly

Thanks for that ,have a black car and the new 2006 graphics are black and just look fab!

climbed inside and WOW WOW WOW! We both fell in love with it there and then,had a small chat with sales lady about discount, she was all " ooh but you get such a lot with it anyway"

Think we'd do it on a bank loan and walk in with cash then like you say I'm sure we could haggle a little bit!

Any specific problems/niggles pertaining to that model ?

Can get a 2005 new for 14,700 but we fell in love with the black graphics(expensive stickers !!!)

Hi Brian, have to say also looked in the Avante 636, but have to admit to falling in love with the new graphics on the crusader,matching the car and all that !!!! But what the heck,live for the moment and all that !!

Hoping to sort it and go in with cash to get a better deal, think it was Coleen we dealt with ,she seemed ok,but will hunt Marienne down !! Say hi to Bina and boys!!

Tina, I can tell you were inspired by my matching car /caravan graphics. We also have a matching awning and sadly I once noticed I was wearing matching sweatshirt and trainers. ;O)

sat in the Ace jubille equerry,around 14k, huge end washroom and fixed bunks!Also the swift conqueror ! nice vans ,unfortunately it was AFTER bieng in the crusader, anything else now I'd feel cheated, also trying to look to the future and move on from the fixed bunks! after seeing Brians van I like the idea of the kids having thier own space(nothing to do with bieng able to shut thier own door over of course)

We have just ordered a 2007 Super Sirocco and are very keen to get a matching awning. We have looked everywhere and the best we have found is the Inaca Mirage 300 (metallic grey). What make and colour is your's? We would like one in black and grey/white.

Hi Tina

We looked at loads of vans this year and the one we really liked was the super storm.Didnt think too much of the blackend windows,but what a surprise they keep the van nice and cool in the sun,it is still nice and bright inside which has amazed people.When you stop at places you dont need to put all the blinds down to stop people looking in , good security.A cracking van very pleased with it.

ps Fleetwood have blackend windows for 2007 ,they all will have soon.

Hi,

we tooke delivery of a new Superstorm at the end of july and have just come back from a fortnight in France with it.

Do we like the black windows? the answer is a resounding yes, they keep the van cool yet don't seem to darken the interior and also it's quite funny to see people admiring the van unaware of your presence inside it.

The van is of the highest quality and towed a dream behind our Shogun, but the best bit is without a part exchange we paid

Hi Michael, we have a Elddis Avante Firestorm 630fb not the Elddis Super storm/scirroco so our graphics /awning/ car are red so can not help with your search.

Tina, I know this post will probably result in the thread being deleted but i would hate myself for not telling you to completely forget the ace vans, we have just lost a wad of money on our ace celebration 590 based on the equirry but we don't care since it was without any shadow of a doubt the worst built van we have ever been unfortunate enough to own, seriousley it was that poor we have vowed never ever to buy another swift product. We looked at the elddis vans and found them to be fine, only thing we didn't like was the colour of the fabrics and the all the switch gear being so in your face, but thats just personal choice. ring round other dealers, we did and got our new coachman vip 530
