Hello Franklin,
We usually hear good reports about Coachman products and they subjectively seem to be have less complaints than many other makes. But this could be partly down the smaller numbers of Coachman products in use.
It is good to read of a manufacture responding quickly to a fault on their product. I firmly believe a fast cooperative response should be encouraged, I wish all manufactures would take customer satisfaction with such reverence.

I applaud Coachman in taking your negative experience of the problem and turning into a positive outcome.

World class manufactures take customer problems very seriously, Information about failures and faults is a very powerful tool that should be used to help review designs and manufacturing procedures to improve the products and the customers experience.

Sadly much of the UK caravan industry fails miserably in this respect, and the results can be seen in the numbers of complaints, and especially recurring faults year on year. Water ingress is a prime example of where the manufactures know how to prevent it, but fail to prevent it.

Water ingress has not featured as a common report with Coachman products so I hope that they have taken the results of what they found had gone wrong in your caravan and reviewed their designs and manufacturing processes to prevent your type of fault from ever happening again.
