hi all

we got our first caravan 2 weeks ago,my uncle was thinking of selling it and we were just visiting and came away with a lunar clubman 460 2 ek.lol. it needed some tlc and we have put new flooring down, scrubbed it, changed tyres, the lot. we love it, its in great shape and he even gave us everything with it, from a little hoover down to pots and pans.lol.

we are young, 20 and 23 and have a border collie who will be going everywhere with us, part of the reason we wanted a tourer is because we dont like kennels so........

we have booked our first trip from the 8th-14th may next month and cannot wait. still, should be fun putting the awning up.lol. it came with it brand new but no instructions, aaaahhhhhh.lol

Hi Danny,

We also got our caravan because of the dog, a black lab god the things we do for these animals LOL!.

Where are you heading for your first trip?

don't worry to much about setting up when you get there normally you will find that all the people around you will have made the same mistakes at some time and are more than ready to help a friendly smile is often all thats needed.

The dog will be in heaven with all the new playmates that its going to have and the fuss from other caravanners.

Enjoy yourselves

Aimee

hi aimee, yes tell me about it, even going away isnt easy though as at home we have a big tropical tank, 4 foot tank with 2 turtles in, tank with a crab in and another tank with fish in then 3 degus.lol

our first trip is to warren farm in brean sands, heard some great things about it when i posted about it on here, as we were away 3 weeks ago we didnt have the money to go anywhere to great so as the caravan is at my uncles in clarks village near glastonbury we will get it from there and its a half hour drive to the site so its a good distance i think for our first outing. i just cant wait to get away, plus warren farm has like big nature trail walks etc so will be great for the dog too :)

next on the list is to get some caravan friends :)

What do you mean next! you already have caravan friends here!!

Warren sands sounds fantastic I can't wait for the grumpy teenager we live with to go to uni so we can go further afield at the minute we are stuck to 2 nights just in case he burns the house down while we are away LOL!
