Helllo all

As usual I left it to the last minute to book for my Bank Holiday break- so had a search on the CC website and decided on Exeter Racecourse. I guess that it's never a good sign when a site has availablity when all others are full- but I live in hope!

Has anyone been here before who can tell me about it? Oh, I have checked and there are no races on that weekend so we won't have all the noise!

Thanks

P

looked at this site, which is smack in the middle of the racecourse.very basic but clean, right on the top of haldon hill which is a very steep hill.there a very few ehu's on this site and there are some of them some distance away so best take an extension if you are on electric.i imagine it can be quite blustery on the top.only looked as i like racing.bit to basic for me,but it looked ok

Went there 18 months ago.Site is quiet basic, not up to CC usual standards. The waste water empty points were blocked and remained so for the three days we were there.Good dog walk.If it gets windy you will need storm straps for the awning. There is considerable road noise from early morning, especially from HGVs coming up the hill.

I could give you a good loud toot from the air horn on the truck if you like. I go up Halden hill most mornings around 7am. if you need an alarm just let me know!!
