Expensive mistake

I decided to replace the pocket sprung mattress which was damaged by a broken bottle of Rioja,as we were thinking of changing the van.after contacting the company that supplies the Explorer group they said that the pocket sprung mattress was not available anymore and was superceded with a memory foam mattress,it cost £250 and it took 7weeks to arrive from China.

It is the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever tried to sleep on.I am now thinking of looking for a domestic type mattress,has anyone had a similar problem.?

We bought one for our bed and I thought I had made a huge mistake. It was like sleeping on a slab of concrete.

We got used to it, it softened and now we wouldn't consider anything else.

thanks for your input chris I will have to give it a little longer as I dont have the money to change it yet anyway.
