Extended mirrors

In thought having extened mirrors was law if you were towing a caravan.

Today driving down the M5 over 50% of caravaners did not have the extened mirros on.

How the hell can these people see around the caravan? I have a job sometimes with them on.

So how many of you guys and gals dont use your mirrors whilst towing? just interested

Just another example of people doing as they please regardless, like riding bikes on pavements, 90 mph on motorways, smoking on trains ( ex leader of Lib/Dems. I'll do what I like, it doesn't apply to me, seems to be the national catch phrase at the moment.

Doesn't it make you feel proud to be British, we are becoming a society that does not give a s**t about anything.

Sorry rant over.

If I understand the law correctly, if you have good vision down the sides of the caravan you dont have to fit extended mirrors.

I have a 4x4, the vision is good but I fit one to the offside & when on the continent use one each side.
