Hi, Mary we have the same problem. Ours was from an Omega 505 22'x 7'to an Pastiche 540/4 23'x7'2". Protech seem to like taking the money and selling you a new cover but are not willing to do alterations. So we still have the cover in its bag never been used and the only company that offered any assistance was Trio Pair in Pontefract, West Yorkshire. They would do the work but can only use the materials that they deal in i.e. mudwalling or similar. Give them a call and see what they say.Bazz.

In a defence of Pro Tec they design their covers for specific models. This makes them a very snug fit on the actual van for which they are designed. They do not give a general size for any number of vans. For them to try and recut and sew a cover to fit a totally different van is probably as expensive, if not more so, than a new cover.

I feel it is being unreasonable for people to expect them to accommodate the various changes of minds that may occur after they have made and sold a cover. If people decide to change a van, then that is their choice.

There are similar issue with awnings. I have 2 in my loft from previous vans but I would not expect the supplier to cut and make the awning to fit the new van, without a lot of cost.

Hi Scotch Lad, I had my awning extended up one size and it fits o/k. Its when you go up two or more sizes that it becomes a problem. This was also done at Trio Pair and was'nt expensive as buying a new awning. Bazz.
