Sirs - would it be asking too much for one of you to e-mail Lord B. as his presence on this forum is noted by his absence. He has been a contributer to this forum for many years and has had both a humourous and a serious side to his characture. I think I speak for many other contributers that he is missed for his light hearted postings and shoud be made to return to the forum immeadiately.

Again there ia a marked absence of Clive V. He was of a more serious disposition to Lord B. but again his contributions were both helpful and constructive. Therefore could you also e-mail him and request his return to the forum again at his earliest convenience as I know he is still working at present (not retired like many of us).

I therefore request that you contact these forum members a.s.a.p. and insist in no uncertain terms that they rejoin us old fogeys.

I for one am quite pleased you have mentioned this. While it is up to each member whether to continue to post or not and I don't think it is reasonable to expect the moderators to go chasing people to re-join the forum the manner of Lord B's disappearance has caused me a little concern. At that time there was,as far as I can remember, no discussions that could cause offence, there was no mention in any of his posts of impending time away(something he made mention of in the past, he normally said if he was planning to go off anywhere) It also runs in my mind although I couldn't be 100% sure, that in a previous post Lord B made mention of the fact he had retired early on health grounds. I have wondered if he has unfortunately suffered a re-occurrence of this and this is the reason for his absence.

Robert
