Hi all - I am new to this site and to Caravanning - we have a motorhome a few years ago before we had kids and ordered ourselves a new caravan at the NEC show a few weeks back

I have two children one is three and the other one - I am looking for some family friendly sites with indoor pools and ideally entertainment that won't break the banks

Other than Haven - any other idea??

Thanks

It can be relaxing even with children of those ages(thats when we started caravanning with ours) Check out the playpark as if it is close to your caravan and the site generally enclosed and safe it makes a huge difference. There is a group of 4 sites around the Woolacombe area, - Golden Coast - Twitchem - Easewell & Woolacombe Bay - they have kids clubs, entertainment etc at each site. There is a bus that takes you from 1 site to another for a small fee or to the beach. Have stayed at GC & Tw sites, both excellent, but it wasnt in high season so cannt comment there.

Solway Holiday Village (part of Hagans Leisure) or Stanwix Park are both lovely sites and very family friendly. Both are in Cumbria.

I would be unsure about Solway Holiday Village. We turned away from there. They were good in that they gave me deposit back. The touring area was not good.Very run down. However, I would be interested to hear any different views as this was 2 years ago. Stanwix park is a different story though.
