Hi Dianne - Benodet was brilliant thanks. We had twelve days of wall to wall sunshine and our pitch was right by the beach, there was a two foot high hedge and four steps seperating us from the beach. the grand children were in the water virtually every day - in fact even I ventured in on one occassions (saved having a wash lol). The place was spotless and the there would be no need to go off the site if we did not wish to. We covered very nigh 1000 miles all told and no problems with driving.

The cost of living was far higher this time than previously, the only thing cheaper was property and fuel. Booze was similar in price to this country but food and clothing a lot dearer. However even allowing for the higher prices we still had a brilliant time.

Reading under a seperate posting please accept our condolencies for the passing of your dear father. Keep thinking positive memories as you will always have those wonderful memories of your parents which no one can take from you. Think of the good times you had in the past with your parents and the grief will fade that much quicker.
