I have just enquired to the CC about ferry costs for next July, their flyer in this months magazine offers Dover - Dunkirk for £124 return, any day, any sailing - car and caravan.

The CC have told me that P&O are offering the same deal at an identical cost.

Is this the best deal on offer at present for next July? as I just cannot see this being beaten.

Hi again Clive, I am going to northern France in July so therefore the crossing to Bilbao is not appropriate on this occasion, but .... from August onwards I will be in the happy position of travelling to France any time of year. We have discussed the possibility of sailing to Bilbao during early October and 'doing' Green Spain. I will check out P&O as suggested and try to save a few pounds as I will be a 'pensioner' then. Thanks

P&O operate on the Dover - Calais route.

Norfolk Line operate the Dover - Dunkerque route.

About 30 minutes to drive between the two towns on the A16 autoroute.
