Hi Sue

Last year I saw fifthwheelers on The camping and caravan club at Kings bury Water Park and also at the Royal Umpire site nr. Southport. I guess you will have to do some homework as much will depend on the entry and general size and layout of the site whether they can take you or not. Is there an Owners Club of any kind you could contact.

Regards

Harold

Hiya Sue, why not give the two clubs a call/email. I've seen coach sized motorhomes on caravan club sites, so if the outfit isnt bigger than the pitch, why not.

For what it's worth, I've just spent 2 years working in the US at an RV dealership.

Prowlers are very far from being the best units on offer so I would advise against buying.

Also don't forget that you will have major issues with weight and the problem of electric brakes. Both of these issues could prevent ownership in this country. Also there is the issue of price, over here you will have to pay very much more than you will in the US.

There is a fifth wheel caravan manufacturer based in Wales (web site http://www.f-n-f.net/A-Family-Dream.htm) You see them at big shows. I guess they must be road legal in th UK. Designed to marry up with a specific pick up made by Nissan, the total basic cost is about
