We have just picked up a 2013 Eccles Jade SE
In front of the centre drawer unit there is a plastic panel with two electric sockets a tv aerial socket and a switch
It's bugging me that we don't know what the switch is for
Have checked handbook and Google...nothing to indicate what it is for
Can anyone advise?

.......most likely the water heater gas boiler remote control. This is the on/off switch and probably the water temperature selector.
Check for sure by having another look at your handbook under the section on water heater.

Ive got a switch group to the right of my central draws. They are located in a stupid position as they are low down and difficult to read, and easily knocked too. One small rocker is electrics to the water heater with two settings. The other is gas to the water heater.

Have you asked the seller as they should know. If that does not work I am afraid switching things on and off might be the best way.
If you cannot sort it a photo might jog someones memory, but it could be something fitted by a previous owner.

If it should be the water heater switch then make sure the heater has water in it otherwise you will damage it.

.........I posted this earlier in this thread because I have a Swift Caravan with the same binnacle assembly as described by the OP.
I chose my words carefully as you cannot be 100% sure without making a physical examination.

My switch is marked Truma Ultrastore and is fully described in my handbook ;)
