First Caravan

Hi, Im thinking of buying a caravan and have just viewed a Swift Charisma 565, and just wondered if there are any reviews etc about the caravan , is it a good buy as a first caravan?, any advice appreciated, Andy

There is a manufacturers review Here which lists all of the good points in general, obviously some owners will have experienced faults or equipment failures and many of these appear on caravan forums.

You need to find out if your vehicle is capable of safely and legally towing the caravan of your choice and general information about weights etc can be found in Towing Law

The main thing to look out for when thinking of buying a caravan is signs of damp or water ingress.

Look under seat cushions and inside wall lockers for signs of discolouration on the wallboards especially at joins and seams.
