Well I must say Lyn and I were suitable impressed with this little CL, Bankfoot Farm at Milgavie (strathblane) nr Glasgow. Loveley field over looking the campsie hills and near to the West Highland Way section. 2 immaculate shower rooms and toilets and electric hook up to boot. All for 8 pound per night. Will venture to non electric CL site as the peace and quite was great at this type of site.

Happy Vanning

I think you get hooked once you've been to one!

We went to our 1st one a couple of weeks ago and loved the location (not so much the rain and wind), but like you we enjoy the peace and quiet and we are about to visit another CL this weekend in cornwall with its own private fishing lake.

Another good thing is they are so cheap

Tony,

If only we had known you were there!!We live just down the road from Bankell Farm in Milngavie.

Anyway, glad you enjoyed it.......the camping field is very heavily used for all the walkers on the West Highland Way.

Do you live not too far away?

There was a few campers but they were fine it was starting to fill upon the camping side right enough. Were live Nr Crieff New Fowlis only 50 miles away. We have booked another CL nr Banchory 13 pound for 2 nights at the end of the month.
