Have bailey van with no cd
adio. Would like to fit my own.

Rigged up a test set up using the factory installed status aerial, but was useless, couldn't pull any signals at all. Anyone using any other type of aerial? Any tips on howwhere to fit it?

I'm afraid that the Status aerial isn't the best match for an FM radio and no match at all for long, medium or short wavebands. Don't pull your hair out, fit a Ring radio aerial, dedicated to the CD/Radio unit you are going to fit. Even with the antenna un-extended you get excellent radio reception. You may find you need to fit the unit on the off-side of the caravan as you won't be able to extend the antenna if you have an awning.

Ya I sure did, led lights up fine, but no signals. Most of the comments I can see on the internet, apart from yours, seem to say that the Status is no good for FM. Thats why I haven't bothered contacting the manufacturers.
