I don’t actually have a hand book for this van so I’m not sure how or if its possible to switch over to 12v ? On my old swift challenger there was a switch clearly marked however there doesn’t appear to be one on this van? I was just wondering if anybody could help?

Hi lishka. Our 1992 Fleetwood Colchester 1850 had a Zig unit that required switching from Caravan to Car when being towed.
Likewise if on a CL or anywhere that did not have Hook-up the Zig was left switched to Caravan, then when towing again it would be set to car and be charged up on the return journey.
When we got to site and hooked up it would be first set to caravan after unhooking from the car.
When attached to the site hook-up it automatically charge the battery through the Zig and maintained the voltage.

Hi lishka, as FG has said it should all be automatic there are no switches on my 2008 Fleetwood Sonata so I presume yours is the same, and like you as my previous van had a switch I was searching high and low.
If you email fleetwoodownersclubadmin@googlemail.com and ask Jackie or Allen for a copy of your manual, if they have it and they have most, they can send you a CD version for I think about £10.00 which you can print out.
Hope this helps.
